Grape Solar has appointed Dr. Leon Dong as the head of its newly established Solar Technology Research Center (STRC) in Eugene, Oregon. With dual PhDs in Physics from Peking University and the University of Texas at Austin, along with postdoctoral research at the University of Washington, Dr. Dong will lead the company’s efforts in developing next-generation perovskite solar technology. His research aims to create more flexible, lightweight, and cost-effective solar solutions.
